About Us
How It All Started
"As a Singaporean MBA student at INSEAD in the early 2000s in Singapore, I was embarrassed that my fellow MBAs, guests in my country, generally had poor experiences staying in condominiums. Unresponsive agents, poorly furnished apartments, difficult relationships with landlords and condo security were common. Whether they would get their security deposit back was also a worry.
In 2018, we found the opportunity and launched The Keystone, an enclave of 21 Heritage former British Military Terraced Houses exclusively at Holland Village. The project has been a success from Day 1.
Over the past decade, the Keystone has been home to a strong student community not only to INSEAD, but students from ESSEC and Singapore Management University (SMU) as well. Beyond new friendship bonds, new business relationships, romantic relationships abound as well. The Keystone had the honour to hold a couple’s solemnization right at our townhouse. This only goes to show that the Keystone has become an integral part of our residents' lives in their time here.
The Keystone has expanded and now has five properties located in central Singapore and near the universities we serve, including INSEAD, ESSEC, Duke-NUS Medical School and SMU. Beyond the bricks and mortar, The Keystone aims to provide a home for you to Build Priceless Relationships and unforgettable memories."

About Homestead Group
The Homestead Group traces its beginnings to 1984, when Founder LOW Siew Thiam started Homestead Furniture one of Singapore’s first Big-Box retailers catering to the country’s growing middle-class.
By the 1990s, Homestead achieved household name status and was the No.3 ranked furniture retailer in Singapore next to IKEA and Courts. In the mid-1990s, Homestead expanded into Interior Design and was the showhome designer for private developments by major property developers like Capitaland, Keppel Land, MCL Land, and others.
Today, Homestead focuses solely on real estate, specializing in owning and operating properties mainly in the student accommodation and serviced apartment sector.
